Dunk Lords (PC)
Dunk Lords (PC)

Sports 2018

An arcade sport game of Story Fort studio that offers a truly peculiar version of basketball. Creators of Dunk Lords were inspired by unusual sport games of the previous century, mainly NBA Jam series. Instead of regular basketball matches, we receive a spectacular and quite brutal game, in which two teams of five players use supernatural powers. We can choose from sixteen varied players (both humans and strange mutants), each with unique talents. They can also attack opponents, which more often than not turn out to be more important than scoring with a ball. As if that wasn’t enough to heat up the game, playgrounds themselves are filled with obstacles and traps. Dunk Lords offers story campaign in single player and cooperative variants, as well as multiplayer for up to four people.

Various competitors differ between each other not only in looks (clothes and models can be individually customized), but in unique skills like shield or special throws as well. Disc Jam can be played alone (against AI-controlled opponents) or in multiplayer mode created for up to four players (via Internet or in split screen mode). The title features colorful, three-dimensional graphics and dynamic soundtrack.

VIDEOBALL (PC)
VIDEOBALL (PC)

Sports 12 July 2016

A minimalistic sports/action game developed by independent studio Action Button Entertainment. The gameplay mechanics in VIDEOBALL combine basketball, soccer, American football and perhaps even reference the popular coin football. The matches are played on small, rectangle courts and both players (and teams) are tasked with placing the ball in the gate or the gate area of the opponent. The ball is moved by shooting it with triangle bullets that can also be used to block the movements and shots of the opponent. The game is fast-paced and before starting playing it one can set the details of gameplay rules. VIDEOBALL also allows matches against the artificial intelligence, but unleashes its true potential only in multiplayer mode, where the players are challenging each other or in teams of two or three players.
