Release Date: 2026 Estimated
A cozy life simulation created by miHoYo studio, known mostly thanks to Genshin Impact. In Petit Planet, we take care of the titular planet, monitoring its vitality (called Luca) and establishing relationships with the creatures inhabiting it, called Neighbors. We can also go on space adventures and visit other places.
The Chinese studio miHoYo gained worldwide recognition after the release of Genshin Impact, which debuted in 2020. Since then, the developers have not only been working on its development, but also releasing other productions. One of them is Petit Planet described here, which is a cozy life simulator.
In Petit Planet we watch the action from a bird's-eye view.
The gameplay takes place on the titular planets, which we take care of in various ways. We engage in activities such as farming, planting crops, harvesting, fishing and collecting treasures on the beach, as well as gathering resources. A crafting system has also been implemented here, allowing for the creation of various items, as well as a cooking mechanic. An important role is played here by Luca. It is the vitality of the planet, to which the individual worlds owe their appearance.
We are not doomed to do all of this alone. On individual globes we encounter Neighbors. They are fluffy creatures with unique personalities, histories, and goals, with whom we build relationships through conversations and offering them gifts.
We can also take the neighbors on a trip to space. When we get bored with our own planet, we can board a spacecraft and embark on a journey to explore nearby worlds, meet their inhabitants, and discover unique recipes. Among the places waiting to be visited, the Galactic Bazaar takes the lead, serving as the beating heart of the galaxy. This is where we can meet other players or participate in festivals.
The game offers extensive customization, including changing the appearance of our character and arranging interiors and gardens.
In Petit Planet we can play solo or in multiplayer mode over the Internet.
The graphic design of Petit Planet is kept in a cartoon style.
