Politics: The Game promises us the opportunity of getting that cushy government seat - taking our rightful place in Polish politics. Although the characters appearing in the game are fictional, they are caricatured reflections of figures well known from the Polish parliament, led by Jaroslaw Kaczynski, Donald Tusk, Antoni Macierewicz, and Grzegorz Braun.

Gameplay

We start in Politics: The Game by choosing the parliamentarian we want to play. The characters are differentiated in terms of three statistics, namely intelligence, charisma and cunning. Besides, each of them has an individual skill that they can use in the fight (literally, but more on that in a moment) against their opponents from the parliamentary benches.

The game also allows us to create our own party, which we will lead to victory. When filling out an application for entry into the register of political parties, we can choose its logo and decide on its name. We have nothing left to do but to throw ourselves into the whirl of political adventures.

These latter include both activities well known to politicians, such as speaking in the parliament, giving interviews or participating in debates, as well as more unusual events. Suffice it to say that we can organize agricultural blockades or cause scandals, for example by extinguishing Hanukkah candles using a powder fire extinguisher.

From time to time we also have to directly fight our political opponents. Depending on which politician we lead into battle, during skirmishes taking place in turn-based mode, we can use such abilities as attacking with a combat cat, casting a curse on a German agent, or evacuating using a police Black Hawk.

Along the way, we must pay attention to our dignity and support, two indicators that reflect how well (or badly) we are doing in politics. Due to the fact that some of our actions have a negative impact on one thing and a positive one on another (and vice versa), it is worth trying to maintain a certain balance... or, disregarding it and doing what we feel like, hoping that somehow it will work out.
