A Polish action RPG hack'n'slash game, inspired by the famous titles of the 1990s, including Nox and Diablo. Powerlust features an open fantasy world, randomly generated dungeons and no class restrictions. Players can play solo or in online coop.
Powerlust is a fantasy action RPG belonging to the hack'n'slash category. The game was developed by a lone developer named Bart Mamzer.
The game is a classic representative of its genre, referring to titles designed in the 1990s, especially Nox and Diablo. It focuses on fighting hordes of enemies using a highly skill-based combat system, requiring precise targeting of attacks and performing dodges.
Powerlust has a rather unusual character creation and development system. There are no typical character classes. Instead, the player has complete freedom to choose skills and combine them into unique combinations. There is nothing to prevent the player from creating, for example, a mage with a two-handed sword or an archer-necromancer.
During the game, we traverse a large open world filled with various challenges. Its surface has a constant form, while the architecture of the underground is randomly generated, which means that fresh adventures await us with each expedition to the dungeons.
The game offers both single player mode and the option of online cooperation. There are two gameplay options available - story mode and a second mode focused solely on dungeon exploration.
For fans of extreme challenges, an optional permadeath variant has also been prepared, in which each death is final and forces the game to be started anew.
The game has a simple, but pleasing to the eye, three-dimensional graphic design. Importantly, the author took care of the cross-play option, allowing PC and mobile players to play together.
