Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King is set in a well-known fantasy universe. The player controls a party of adventurers who have to stop the evil Dhoulmagus and remove the curse he placed on the king and his daughter. As we progress, the protagonists gain new abilities and items and become stronger.

Again, we play the role of Paul de Raque, a knight of the Templar Order, entangled in the eternal struggle against the demonic forces of Hell that attack humanity.
