In 2023, a new entity emerged on the industry map. Wombo Games, as it is called, is a development studio founded by Janos Flosser, who previously participated in the creation of IO Interactive and also worked as a creative director at Square Enix. The debut project from the Copenhagen team is Raiders of Blackveil - a production that blends action RPGs, roguelites, and extraction games.

Gameplay

In Raiders of Blackveil, events are viewed from an isometric view. During the game we enter a world inhabited by anthropomorphic animals and take on the role of rebels who, aiming to thwart the plans of the sinister Blackveil coalition, infiltrate a factory belonging to it.

Character classes

We can pick between characters inspired by MOBA games and create unique builds based on traits representing various professions. The list of available classes includes a warrior, mage, assassin, guardian, priest, monk, druid, and warlock. Each is equipped with unique powers and mechanics, and their combat potential can be further enhanced by utilizing class synergies and creating effective perk combinations.

Combat and loot

While exploring the factory, we focus on eliminating enemies and collecting loot. The battles are dynamic, and success on the battlefield requires us to be in constant motion and skillfully leverage the strengths of our characters.
