game release date for iOS:
Rayman Mini is the result of cooperation between Ubisoft (or more precisely, the Ubisoft Montpellier studio) and Pastagames. As was the case with the two previous spin-offs of the cycle, i.e. Rayman Jungle Run and Rayman Fiesta Run, we are dealing with an auto runner type of production.
In Rayman Mini, we take on the role of the title character. The protagonist is reduced to the size of an ant, allowing him to discover a previously unknown world and face completely new challenges.
In Rayman Mini, the action is shown from the side. The game consists in traversing colourful and varied stages dotted with various traps, obstacles and enemies standing in the way of our charges. The hero moves to the right on his own, but we have to use his abilities skillfully, jumping (and gliding) over abysses, jumping from platform to platform, climbing the elements of the environment or finally attacking enemies.
There are six worlds waiting to be visited here, each of which is divided into eight stages; once completed, we still have to face one of the powerful bosses. On each level you can find creatures called Lumas, and after gaining them all, we are rewarded with Electoons needed to unlock new outfits for the hero. In addition, during the game we are constantly accompanied by a stopwatch, which allows you to go through the various stages on time.
Rayman Mini is based on the UbiArt Framework engine, which has driven, among other things, the two previous spin-offs of the series, as well as its two main parts, Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends. The graphics are kept in colourful colours and cartoon style, and the whole thing looks very pleasing to the eye; it is complemented by catchy music.
