ReMatch is a football game with a unique twist - we can control only a single football player and we watch him from a third-person perspective. The game was created exclusively for online multiplayer gameplay - the matches are played in 5vs5 format, allowing up to 10 players to compete.
ReMatch is a football-themed arcade game, designed for multiplayer gameplay. The game was developed by Sloclap studio, which has projects such as Absolver and Sifu in its portfolio.
Unlike most other football games, in ReMatch we do not observe the action from a bird's eye view, but from a third-person perspective (TPP). Moreover, the game does not allow us to switch between players, providing us with a single footballer.
During the game we take part in matches played in a 5 on 5 format. During them, the key to success is not only showing off our skills (when receiving the ball, dribbling or scoring goals), but also cooperating with the other team members.
At first glance the gameplay in ReMatch does not differ from what we know from real football fields and other football games, but in reality it is governed by slightly different rules. There are no fouls, offsides or breaks to be found here. Instead, matches go on uninterrupted from the first to the second (and last) whistle.
Furthermore, all players are equal, which is intended to ensure that not their statistics, but our individual skills will determine the victory or defeat of one team or another.
ReMatch only allows for multiplayer gameplay over the Internet. 10 players participate in the football matches.
