Seraph: In the Darkness is a hack'n'slash game reminiscent of the Diablo and Path of Exile series. It is the debut project of the Seraph Studio team, founded in 2021. The game is distributed in a free-to-play model with microtransactions.

Gameplay

Seraph: In the Darkness transports us to a dark fantasy world. We watch the action in an isometric view.

Classes

We start the game by choosing a character class. The game provides us with a sorceress wielding magic, a valkyrie equipped with a bow (both female protagonists keep enemies at a distance), a necromancer who revives enemies and uses them on the battlefield, as well as a barbarian wielding an axe and fighting in close combat.

Combat

The core of the game are dynamic skirmishes with hordes of enemies. Fighting against regular enemies and powerful bosses, we must be constantly on the move (not letting ourselves be killed) and make good use of the strengths of the hero or heroine we are controlling.

Character development

As we progress, we unlock new combat skills, as well as accumulate increasingly powerful equipment, which we find or craft and improve, using the resources we acquire. Thanks to this, over time we can not only face increasingly greater challenges, but also adapt the controlled character to individual preferences and style of play.

Endgame

We advance in the story told in the game by completing quests associated with it. Completing the storyline and reaching level 60 means entering the endgame phase, where we can put our skills to the ultimate test. Its content is based on seasons, within which new goals and rewards are introduced.
