Star Ocean: The Last Hope - 4K & Full DH Remaster is a remastered version of a jRPG released in 2009. In comparison with the original release, the game delivers improved visuals, mainly due to the much higher available resolution. The PC Windows version introduces mouse and keyboard support and features the screenshot functionality, which hides interface elements on the pictures. The PlayStation 4 version of the game delivers HD graphics, while the owners of PlayStation 4 Pro can enjoy 4K resolution.

Another entry in a jRPG series, started in 1996 by Tri-Ace studio, that combines elements of fantasy and science-fiction. Plot of Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness has been set in universe well-known to fans of the series, with culture and technology resembling that of 16th century’s Europe. The story takes place 500 years after the events of the previous game, and its main hero is a 23 years old knight, Fidel Camus, who tries to protect his home village Stahr. He is supported in his task by his childhood friend, Miki Sorvesta, who possesses extraordinary healing skills. On their way, they meet a mysterious girl who lost all her memories, eventually deciding to set on a dangerous journey to help her. In terms of game mechanics, production doesn’t strand from genre’s canons, focusing on exploring, completing tasks and developing skills and equipment of heroes. The game mechanics are complemented by a dynamic real-time battle system.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope International is a version released exclusively for PlayStation 3 edition of jRPG Star Ocean: The Last Hope, for which the tri-Ace development studio will be responsible. The story depicts the fate of two young heroes who, after the outbreak of the Third World War and the destruction of the Earth, are looking for a new place for people to live in the Universe. The International Edition is distinguished by double dubbing (Japanese and English) and additional tracks on the soundtrack of the game.
