Strategy 01 August 2017
A remastered edition of the unusual musical strategy game Patapon, originally released in 2008 for PSP. In the game, you accompany the members of the dying society of little warriors called the Patapons, who embark on a dangerous journey, during which they fight using swords, spears, and bows to earn what they deserve. The gameplay focuses on leading the group of creatures and facing adversities, including enemies big and small. The uniqueness of the gameplay consists of the fact that you issue orders by pressing buttons to the rhythm of music to create a given sequence. Depending on what melody you play, you army can move forwards, assume a defensive stance, attack, or perform a efficiency-boosting combo. As the gameplay pace is quite fast and one false note can mean big trouble, to succeed in Patapon Remastered you need a good sense of rhythm and a quick decision-making skill.
