Welcome to the series that discusses the most important upcoming releases on Steam. This is another week in the shadow of the Summer Sale. It will not end until July 10th, so the next few days will be pretty much devoid of any big releases. We'll start getting some really cool new stuff only after this sale ends.

Release of the week: Every Day We Fight (July 10th)

In the last several months, Hooded Horse has become one of the best publishers of strategic games. Every Day We Fight will try to maintain this streak, combining real-time exploration with turn-based clashes. From this week's releases, it's this title that most people are following on Steam.

In the game, we will lead a group of guerrillas trying to fend off an alien invasion. Our people will be stuck in a time loop for one day, slowly gaining skills and knowledge with each cycle to ultimately defeat the invaders from another planet.

Missile Command Delta

Missile Command Delta is the new version of the classic Atari arcade game. Instead of the shooter known from the original, we will get a project combining elements of simulation and adventure.

The game will take us to a bunker, and we'll have to defend against missile attacks in a turn-based system. Between the strikes, we'll have the chance to explore the structure and uncover its secrets.

July 10th

American Truck Simulator: Iowa

On Thursday, American Truck Simulator will finally receive the long-awaited Iowa expansion, which will focus on recreating the titular state of the USA.

Everdeep Aurora

Everdeep Aurora is a 2D platformer with a cool retro style inspired by 8-bit games. The production will put a strong emphasis on adventure elements, within which we will collect items and use them to solve puzzles.

Ground of Aces (Early Access)

Ground of Aces is a strategy game enriched with simulation elements, in which we will manage an air base during World War II.

The game was developed by Blindflug Studios, the creators of First Strike and AIRHEART - Tales of Broken Wings, which respectively have 77% and 80% positive reviews on Steam.

ISLANDERS: New Shores

ISLANDERS: New Shores is a minimalist city builder in which we will build small towns on an archipelago of islands.

The first installment released in 2019 is highly acclaimed - it has 94% positive reviews on Steam.

Mycopunk

Mycopunk is a funny FPS game where you control a robot exterminating hordes of monsters on an alien planet. The game will allow for solo play, but will mainly focus on co-op.

The demo from Steam Next Fest (unfortunately no longer available) made a great impression thanks to a very dynamic combat system and an interesting visual style, so we have high expectations for the full release of the game.

The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature

On Thursday, Enchanted by Nature, the latest DLC to The Sims 4, will also launch. The DLC will allow us to live in harmony with nature as ordinary sims or fairies with unique characteristics.

Brickadia (Early Access)

Brickadia is an online sandbox in the style of Roblox. In this game, players will be able to create their own worlds and game modes, and then share them with the rest of the community.

Crisis in the Kremlin is a real-time strategy game in which we manage the USSR during the 1980s. Our task will be to lead the country out of the crisis, which will require dealing with the economy, diplomacy, armaments, and scientific research.

Death Ring: Second Impact (Early Access)

Death Ring: Second Impact is a tactical turn-based game with roguelike elements. In the game, players will be able to create mech squads and use them to defend human cities from alien army attacks.

PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY

On Friday, we are looking forward to the release of PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY, a collection that includes remastered versions of two iconic titles combining the RTS and rhythm game genres. The original versions never got a PC release, so the launch of the updated versions on Steam will be a really big deal.

Fans of RimWorld are counting down the days until the launch of the Odyssey expansion. The DLC will allow to construct a gravity ship serving as a mobile colony capable of exploring space.

Striden is an online FPS of the extraction shooter type, the action of which takes place in war-torn Scandinavia. The players will team up, raid the map, and build their base to eventually try to escape with the loot.

Friday is going to be a great day for fans of classic games because that's when Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 will be released. In addition to improved graphics, the collection will also offer new maps and tricks.

Xenopurge (Early Access)

Meanwhile, Xenopurge is a combination of a tactical battle game and an auto battler. In the game, we will deal with fighting aliens. Our units will fight on their own, and we will use multi-screen interfaces to plan routes and give general orders, adapting to changing conditions during the mission.
