Brave New World is the second major expansion to the popular strategy game - Sid Meier 's Civilization V. The title was developed by Firaxis Games Studio, the creators of the original game as well as its first expansion - Gods & Kings. The game introduces a number of novelties, including the Polish civilization.

The developers of Brave New World decided to introduce nine new civilizations. Each of them has its own special characteristics and leaders. E.g. the specialty of Polish nation is Solidarity, and their leader - Casimir III the Great, who was a king of Poland in the years 1333-1370. New nations also mean more types of units (e.g. Polish Winged Hussars) and buildings. The game also sports new political systems and technologies as well as a complex system of ideology.
