NHL 18 is another installment in the sports game series developed by EA Sports – a division of Electronic Arts. The gameplay revolves around the same mechanics as the previous installments, trying to faithfully represent ice hockey games; however, the developers implemented some major changes. One of them is the Defensive Skill Stick system, ensuring better control over a player and the hockey stick during defensive maneuvers.

Each of its pages is a new world built entirely of clay. In-game levels offer a variety of action/logic challenges, most of which are based on the physics of objects – the engine mimics the movement of clay objects quite realistically.

A simplistic arcade game requiring the player to throw spears at incoming enemies. This is the debut of Lichthund - an independent Polish developer. The game is set in the far future and the world itself was inspired by Germanic mythology, which is combined here with elements of science fiction and abstract humor. The player assumes the role of a bright-haired warrior who traverses this fantasy world and fights mythological creatures.

A side-scrolling platformer based on classic premise and created as a result of a cooperation between the independent Fully Illustrated studio and the Darkwind Media company. The player is taken to 120 AD, when the forces of the Roman Empire invade the southern part of Britain. The player assumes the role of a fearless warrior by the name of Caradok, who decides to face the attackers on his own and violently ask them to leave.

There are six jockeys and six horses at the player's disposal - each of them has both their weak and strong points, which makes it necessary to experiment with different tactics. The player participates in races taking place on six tracks - Horse Racing 2016 is played from the third-person view and the player takes part in 56 different competitions distributed throughout ten seasons.

An arcade game developed by Oddbird - a Toronto-based studio. The players assume the roles of large birds armed with bows and take part in incredibly dynamic shootouts on maps filled with traps. The game is played from an isometric view. A multiplayer mode for up to 4 players is the core element of the experience - the players can meet online or share one screen. The game also features a complex arcade mode, which gives an opportunity to eliminate AI-controlled enemies solo or in cooperation.
Kirby Star Allies

Another entry in the popular series of platform games developed by, among other developers, the Japanese studio HAL Laboratory. The game was developed for Nintendo Switch and – similarly to previous entries in the series – it enables the player to assume the role of the titular character, who travels through vast and varied levels. During the game they must jump between platforms, avoid traps and dangers and fight encountered enemies, among which there are large, powerful bosses.

A three-dimensional platformer designed exclusively for the Nintendo Switch console. The players take control of Yoshi – a cute dinosaur-like creature known from the Mario franchise. This time he is taken to a miniature world filled with challenges requiring both skill and logic, and offering many gold coins to collect. Yoshi is a classic platformer with side view, with our hero running, jumping and throwing eggs at enemies or environmental objects.

Story-wise, the game is set on Earth, which was invaded by an alien civilization from an alternative, musical dimension. The invaders decided to modify sports they found here to match their own preferences - in order to do the testing, they challenged the Earth's best contestants.

An advanced chess simulator adapted to support VR headsets. Chess Ultra allows us to compete against other players or AI that offers ten difficulty levels, which determine how many moves can the computer read in advance and the probability of it making a mistake. The action is observed from the first-person perspective. We can learn both the basics and advanced strategies in the tutorial. In total, the developers prepared eighty chess challenges (e.g. winning a game within seven turns).
Nidhogg 2

Nidhogg 2 is an action game developed by Mark “Messhof” Essen, the same person who created the series’ first installment that was released in 2014. The game uses the same gameplay mechanics as its predecessor. Once again we get a 2D action game where we take part in duels on vast, tiered levels similar to those from typical platform games. We can play against A.I. or other players through online or split-screen multiplayer.

A package containing ten classic arcade games from the 1980s, which were developed by the titular company. The compilation includes both games which became icons of pop-culture over the years (Pac-Man, Galaga, Galaga '88) and less known, though still classic titles (Dig Dug, The Tower of Druaga, Rolling Thunder, Rolling Thunder 2, Sky Kid, Splatterhouse, Tank Force). The Japanese developer did not decide to improve the audiovisuals or implement extended graphical settings.

A twin-stick shooter, created by an indie studio called Fermenter Games, inspired by cartoons from 1990s. The story, with a touch of specific humor, plays in Neighborhorde a secondary role. During the game we play as anthropomorphic animals. Their mothers aren't happy with the fact that their children spend too much time on video games. After being forced to go outside, the children have to face robots, sorcerers, zombies and even dragons who got here by a recently opened portal.

The land's princess was kidnapped and the crown jewels were stolen by mysterious enemies. When that happened the ruler of the land decided to ask his most respected knights for help – they must go down to castle's crypts and punish the thieves.
99Vidas

Developed by the independent developer QUByte Interactive, 99Vidas is a conventional 2D beat'em up game. The titular 99Vidas is an incredibly powerful artifact, which was stolen by the Evil Boss. The main characters are fighters trained to guard the artifact - their goal is to defeat the adversary along with the six allies of his, apart from retrieving the item before it gets used for evil purposes. As all the other brawlers in general, the game is played from a side view.

The combat system was inspired by the popular Super Smash Bros series, while also taking into account fighting game novices. Blade Strangers features several gameplay modes.

The game needs to be played by at least two people, using one TV set or via the Internet. The gameplay consists of answering questions regarding the other players, such as “Who would laugh at their teacher's lame joke?” From time to time you also have to fulfill random orders, take photos, and draw simple pictures.

Pokken Tournament DX is an improved version of the Wii U game Pokken Tournament. In terms of gameplay mechanics, the game in topic is not much different from most popular 3D fighting games. Pokken Tournament DX offers over 20 pokemon from both the old and new installments of the main RPG series. Each of them has its own unique fight style and combo attacks. The game introduces one new pokemon that was not available in its 2016 version, Decidueye.
