Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is the next instalment of the series of agricultural games launched in 2014 on the Nintendo 3DS console. In game, we play the role of the pioneer, who is trying to manage on an old farm. The game was developed by Marvelous aql. The publisher is XSEED Games.
In Story of Seasons: The Pioneers of Olive Town we take on the role of a young man who leaves town to live on his grandfather's farm. The property is located near Olive Town and has been abandoned for years. The young man decides to do what he can to bring new life to this place.
In Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town action we watch from above ( top-down view). The core of the game is to explore the locations and gradually develop your own farm as well as a nearby town. We can grow all kinds of plants and breed animals, construct buildings, improve tools and machines, and develop urban infrastructure.
As the game progresses, our character's skills gradually develop, opening the way to new opportunities. The player also has the option of getting to know the inhabitants of Olive Town, entering into various relationships with them (including romantic ones) and participating in various celebrations, festivals and the broadly understood social life of the town (several hundred different events can be found in the game).
In Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town can only play alone. The core of the game is a feature campaign. The game has two difficulty levels - Normal / Veteran Mode (dedicated to players who already have some experience with this series) and Seedling Mode (it is a proposition for newcomers - it makes everything about 30% cheaper and the stamina of the main character is decreasing 50% slower).
Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town features a pretty, three-dimensional graphic design. Graphics is not very advanced in terms of technology, but the characteristic, manga artistic style (thanks to pastel colours it can be associated with games from Pokemon or Animal Crossing series) makes the game look decent.
