A 2D RPG focused on socializing and exploring an open city. Sunkissed City is set in Apollo City, where we'll get to know the people and take part in various events, such as fishing and farming.
Sunkissed City is an open-world RPG with life sim elements, featuring pixel art visuals. It was developed by Arthur "Mr. Podunkian" Lee, inspired by such games as the Harvest Moon series and Stardew Valley. He's also worked on the latter, being responsible for updates 1.4 and 1.5.
Sunkissed City, is set in the sunny Apollo City, where, as an employee of the Pico corporation, we must convince the inhabitants to participate in an ecological program "Peco Pioneer". Once we're there, it turns out the city's not doing well - the people suffer chronic migraine, struggle against aggressive wildlife and monsters emerging from the sewers. It's up to us to restore peace to Apollo City.
Socialization is a key part of the game, meaning we'll spend lots of time getting to know other people. We can talk to them, help with their needs, give them gifts, go on dates and fight sewer monsters for them.
The world of Sunkissed City is open - we'll traverse Apollo City and its surroundings on foot, by bike or subway. The city itself changes depending on the time of day. In the morning we can visit various shops selling cosmetic items (clothes and furniture), while in the evening we'll take part in various events.
In our free time we'll get to cook, fish, photograph wildlife and visit hot springs. Farm lovers can instead devote themselves to breeding animals and growing plants. We can learn new skills by reading various books.
Sunkissed City supports singleplayer and co-op, both local and online.
