Both installments of the Risk of Rain series have been developed by the independent studio called Hopoo Games. In Risk of Rain 2, a player assumes the role of a character traversing the surface of an unknown distant planet with the objective of surviving in this unwelcoming environment and exploring locations filled with aggressive adversaries.

Valfaris is a two-dimensional platform game by Steel Mantis team, known from Slain: Back From Hell, published by Digital Uppercut Productions. The production is a development of ideas from the previous work of the creators. Once again we get the climate inspired by heavy metal, but this time the authors have abandoned the fantasy reality for the sake of science fiction. Players play as a warrior who explores a star fortress full of monsters orbiting the dying sun.

Dragon Quest Heroes I & II for Nintendo Switch is a collection of two third-person hack-and-slash games and Dragon Quest series spin-offs developed by Omega Force. Both games are 3D hack-and-slash titles, very similar to the Dynasty Warriors series in terms of gameplay. As we play, we will explore enormous open locations and fight with hordes of enemies. The available heroes have different attacks and special abilities.

The game shows an unpleasant vision of the future, in which the Earth has fallen victim to an alien invasion. Instead of defending the Blue Planet, the player assumes control over an Alien ship with an objective to face waves of human adversaries and defend enormous devices extracting resources and altering the Earth’s atmosphere.

An oldschool shooter game by Italo Games, utilizing a top-down perspective. Milanoir is set in Milan during the 1970s. The protagonist is Sacchi Piero, who was framed for murder and sentenced to a life in prison. However, he manages to leave the prison in unclear circumstances and from now on his goal is to find the person responsible for his incarceration. During the game, you explore Milan and eliminate enemies, using a wide range of firearms and such weapons as Molotov cocktails or grenades.

Due to an experiment, the heroine is transformed into a cyborg, which enables her to challenge the mechanic invaders. Giga Wreckers presents the action from the side view, and gameplay mostly consists of exploring huge levels, jumping on platforms, and battling more or less dangerous enemies.

Flinthook is a roguelike platform game developed by the indie studio Tribute Games. We play as a space pirate who is also a treasure hunter. We will have to face an ancient evil that threatens the entire universe. The game is presented from a side-scrolling perspective and takes place on procedurally generated spaceships. Our hero has a wide array of tools available that will help him move around the game's levels and fight with the encountered enemies. Blasma Pistol is our primary weapon.

Interested in learning about the reality he lives in, the boy sets out on a journey to different planets. While observing the action from the side-view, the player solves logic puzzles based on physics and fights enemies.

The player takes on the role of a genetically-modified soldier of the future. The game begins soon after the arrival of the protagonist's squad in a strategic warzone, where they got betrayed and slaughtered. As the sole survivor of the massacre, the protagonist has to avenge their comrades and by eliminating those who wronged them.

An independent beat'em up game, which casts the player in the role of a mad gorilla that is trying to escape from captivity. The player's task is to complete subsequent, procedurally-generated corridors, as well as to deal with hordes of enemies, both soldiers and guards. The game is played from a top-down view and the only thing the protagonist can rely on is the power of his own muscles. With his hands, the gorilla crushes the enemies, but can also grab and throw them.
