The Elder Scrolls Online Expansion Pack
TESO: Blackwood
Release Date: June 1, 2021
The Elder Scrolls Online: Gates of Oblivion is another big expansion for the ZeniMax Online studio MMORPG, enriching the gameplay with an extra chapter in the campaign, allowing you to go back and explore the areas known from the fourth part of the main series - TES IV: Oblivion.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood is the next major expansion to the 2014 MMORPG, The Elder Scrolls Online. It was developed by ZeniMax Online studio.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood begins the chapter entitled Gates of Oblivion, the prologue to which was presented in the DLC Flames of Ambition. The entire story focuses on the insidious plans of the daedric prince Mehrunes Dagon.
The biggest change that The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood introduces is the companion system. The player's character can be joined by NPCs, who will support him during the exploration, gaining experience and growing stronger on their own. In addition, the developers have decided to expand the game world with locations such as the titular Blackwood region, the city of Leyawiin and the Shadowfen swamps. There is also a new side activity - Oblivion Portals.
The expansion also offers, among other things, new equipment and collectibles.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood is not a standalone expansion pack and requires the main game to play.

Game Ratings for The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood Video Game.
God is a Geek: 8.5 / 10 by Chris White
The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood is a dense expansion that delves into what made Oblivion so good, featuring a great story and more.
Checkpoint Gaming: 6 / 10 by Omi Koulas
ESO: Blackwood is familiar territory for fans of the universe. While it provides heaps of armour sets to collect, enemies to defeat, and captivating characters to meet, it won’t be anyone’s favourite. This chapter of the MMO lacks an unseen and astounding setting, like Elsywere and Summerset had before it. However, as a complete package, The Elder Scrolls Online continues to be one of the best quality MMO experiences.
PlayStation Universe: 8 / 10 by Neil Bolt
Blackwood brings an intriguing new story full of conspiracy and demonic dangers to The Elder Scrolls Online, and while that's good, it's the addition of Oblivion Portals and A.I. Companions that really make the latest expansion a winner.
