The Elder Scrolls Online: Scalebreaker is a smaller DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online MMORPG. It was made available as part of the Dragon Season started by the Elswyr expansion. The developers (ZeniMax Online) of the basic version of the game are responsible for the development of the add-on.
Scalebreaker adds two more dragon stories to the popular MMOPRPG. In the first one, we accompany Chevalier Renald in his crusade against the vampires who managed to capture the dragon. The bloodsucking clan is preparing a dark ritual with the help of a former member of the Dragon Watch to gain terrifying power from the monster's blood.
The second thread will focus on the corruption spreading in the lands of forest elves. Its source is the dragon Maarselok, awakened by the opening of the Colossus Hall, but the expeditions to kill the monster so far have failed. The only hope is an unusual couple of characters: the sorcerer Carindon and captured by him forest spirit Selene. However, they don't love each other, so it's up to us to make sure that they don't destroy each other's chances of defeating Maarselok.
The main attraction of the add-on are two new dungeons in which we learn the stories of Chevalier Renald, Carindon and Selene. In both, we will find a lot of new enemies and obstacles, which will provide heroes with a big challenge. Upon completion, we receive access to eight unique items, as well as five additional trophies.
Scalebreaker is a dependent add-on and therefore requires a basic version of The Elder Scrolls Online. The expansion is available free of charge for ESO Plus subscribers or for purchase at the game store.
