In 1987, System 3 studio released The Last Ninja, an action-adventure game that allowed players to take on the role of the titular warrior. It was so successful that it started a new series. After many years, the developers from System 3 decided to prepare the release described here - The Last Ninja Collection + Bonus Games. It is a compilation containing four productions from The Last Ninja brand, as well as three bonus games. The creation of this package was made possible in part by a successful crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.
The Last Ninja Collection + Bonus Games package includes the following games:
In The Last Ninja series, the action is viewed from an isometric perspective. We go through various locations, fight enemies, and solve puzzles. Ninja Remix is not the fourth installment of the series but rather a remaster of the first game, featuring updated graphics and sound, as well as improved gameplay.
The three remaining productions included in this compilation are classic fighting games where we engage in one-on-one battles on side-view arenas. In International Karate and IK+ we take on the roles of karate fighters, while Bangkok Knights allows us to try our hand at Muay Thai boxing.
The games offer both single-player gameplay and the option to compete against a second player on the same screen.
