In the game we again play the role of Link, who ends up in the mysterious land of Termina, facing the approaching apocalypse. To prevent it, our protagonist will have to find a forest creature named Skull Kid and recover the ancient Major Mask from his hands.

The biggest introduction that comes with the expansion is the new adventure called Trials of the Sword.
