Total War: Warhammer 40,000

Factions

The base version of the game includes four factions: Space Marines, Astra Militarum, Orks, and Eldar. Each of them has a unique set of units, individual strengths and weaknesses, and most importantly – its own style of gameplay. Both fans of precise operations and commanders who emphasize aggressive, barbaric actions will find something for themselves here.

Galactic sandbox

Creative Assembly's work provides us with a vast galaxy, which becomes the field of our activities. The decisions we make not only determine the fate of our faction but also influence the shape of its entire cosmic environment.

Cosmic crusade

Thanks to the strategic layer, all matters related to managing our empire rest on our shoulders. We make decisions regarding the war economy, recruit troops, upgrade our fleet, and issue orders for attack and defense.

Battles

When battles occur, the gameplay shifts to the battlefields, and we take direct control of our troops, commanding them in real-time. Our success on the battlefield is determined not only by the size and advancement of the army but also by factors such as utilizing the terrain (which is subject to deformation).

We deploy both infantry and war machines. Additionally, powerful strategic abilities await testing (such as orbital bombardment or erasing an entire planet with apocalyptic weapons). Their proper use can secure us victory.

Our own army

Total War: Warhammer 40,000 allows us to create our own army, deciding on the faction's title, heraldry, iconography, and weaponry. Moreover, we can adapt its features to our tactics.
