War of the Vikings is an online action game developed by the creators of War of the Roses. In the game, we get to side with either Vikings or Saxons. Fatshark, the studio behind this title, is mostly known for the aforementioned War of the Roses, but they are also responsible for such games as Krater: Shadows over Solside, Bionic Commando: Rearmed 2 and Hamilton’s Great Adventure.

Compared to War of the Roses, the game offers more options in creating and modifying the looks of our character. The developers were inspired not only by the actual realities of the period, so they added something extra to the mix. Up to 64 players may take part in battles. The most important element is melee combat, although it is enriched with some ranged weapons. Traditionally, the game rewards teamplay, while special perks let the player establish his role in the party by increasing some of his statistics.
