Werewolf: The Apocalypse for PC is RPG developed by the French Cynide – a studio known for creating such games as Styx, Pro Cycling Manager, and Blood Bowl.
As the title suggests, the game is an adaptation of the tabletop role-playing game called Werewolf: The Apocalypse. The action of the game is set in present times in a dark alternative version of our own reality inhabited by numerous creatures we know from myths and legends. The player assumes the role of a member of the werewolf race, who, together with his companions from the herd, sets off to face the mysterious Wyrm – a powerful force trying to destroy the entire planet.
The game has been set in a fictional universe called the World of Darkness, which includes many other RPG systems, allowing players to assume the roles of numerous characters. This franchise has been used before by developers to create such games as Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, Vampire The Masquerade: Redemption, Hunter: The Reckoning, and Hunter: The Reckoning Redeemer.
