Worms Rumble is a game that combines the classic convention of the Worms series with the focus on real-time multiplayer battles offering 32-person battle royale, deathmatch and more. Team17 Digital is responsible for the game, creating the previous parts and is known for releasing games such as Overcooked and Neon Abyss.
Worms Rumble is all that is known from previous releases, but is played in real time, making the game much more deadly and dynamic. The worms have at their disposal an arsenal typical of the series such as bazooka, uzi, shotgun or holy grenade. Skilful use of weapons and knowledge of the trajectory of missiles is the key to success in battles taking place in humorous locations, full of platforms, tunnels, passages and specific elements that can be used both to our advantage and disadvantage.
The game offers several game modes, such as battle royale for 32 players or deathmatch, but we can take part in battles against other players in a single or multi-player team. In addition, you will find here special events, both seasonal and daily, for completion of which special prizes and additional experience points await you. These, along with the currency in the game, allow us to buy accessories, headgear and other items to distinguish our earthworm from the crowd of others similar to her, dressing up with her cook's hat, unicorn outfit or stylish glasses, but also to change the skin of the weapon and smiles among which we can find funny dance styles and more.
Worms Rumble is a three-dimensional game in which, by controlling the earthworm, seen from the third person perspective, we move through colourful maps rich in detail.

Worms Rumble has been announced and the fans of the series better brace for this one. The game will abandon the turn-based combat system and offer, among others, a battle royale mode. There will also be a cross-play option, allowing PC users and PlayStation 4 and PS5 owners to play together.
