On this page of the Ghostwire Tokyo guide, you will find a walkthrough for the tenth main mission, Agony, which is part of chapter 3 - Connection. In the following walkthrough, you will find out, e.g. how to get rid of the fog and reach the heart of the Pillar of Light, how to unlock the entrance to the caves and how to survive the boss fight with Ko-omote.

Head toward the pillar of light
When you start this mission, you will discover the locations of 6 new torii gates and related shrines.
Your destination is in the northern area covered by fog, meaning you must cleanse at least two of the surrounding shrines. However, we recommend that you take care of all torii gates. This way you will unlock all rewards from the shrines' altars, get new side quests and collectibles.
Mandatory shrines to take over are:
- Yamaki Shrine - It's on the roof of the building. You can get there by pulling yourself to one of the tengu creatures. You can also glide between the roofs of buildings.
- Kirigaoka Shrine - You have to cleanse two different torii gates (one by the road and the other on the hill in the forest). Cleansing this shrine should unlock a safe path to the north (picture above).
Go to the pillar of light's heart
Start heading north through the forest. On your way, you will watch a short cut-scene. After that, head to the Wayward Shrine. Approach the rocks shown in the picture and hold the indicated button to move them and unlock the entrance to the cave.
Go deeper inside
The path through the cave is linear. You have to reach the area presented in the picture above. A longer cut-scene will start - you will face a new boss - Ko-Omote.
Defeat Ko-omote - boss fight
Right after the fight starts, KK will be ripped from Akito's body. The powers will be temporarily unavailable. You will have to defeat the boss by relying on your cleverness and stealth. If you get detected, start escaping to lose the pursuit. Don't try to attack Ko-omote like any other enemy.
The key to winning this fight is to sneak up on the boss from behind while it's patrolling the area to perform Quick Purge - you need to use it on Ko-omote's tails. Each stealth attack will tear out that tail.
One of the results of losing power is the inability to use spectral vision. Instead, you have to lean around the corners to track the boss.
Use the ventilation shafts in the central area to wait for a good moment to attack. There you can wait for Ko-omote to pass you by. Be careful, however, because it can suddenly become dangerous in the shafts - you will need to leave them for a moment.
You have to perform 3 stealth attacks on Ko-omote. After that, you will watch more cut-scenes. You'll also move to chapter 4.
