Unlocking the quest
You can start this quest after reaching Chapter 4 of the campaign. A quest marker should appear on the map automatically, pointing at the southern edge of the forest you visited earlier at the end of Chapter 3.
The quest giver is the Man with Wounds.
Catch kamaitachi
Your objective is locating and catching the weasel-like yokai. Head north to the forest area marked by the game. Here you'll find the levitating Kamaitachi.
The yokai will start running away from you. Sprint behind it. As soon as it stops run up to it and hold down the absorb button. This completes the very brief quest.
More Kamaitachi and other yokai markers will appear on the world map as you progress through the game. You can reach them in order to absorb them and obtain more magatama.
