Homefront The Revolution: Hearts and Minds

Moments after you begin the mission, you have to gain 100% of the "hearts and minds" indicator, seen on your map. This means you have to help the inhabitants of the yellow zone, take over the available critical points, and sabotage the KPA propaganda through destroying megaphones and activating radios.

Helping the inhabitants is done in a manner of one-time help of eliminating one or few KPA soldiers. Choose tasks where the number of enemies is low. This way you will avoid unnecessary combat and any reinforcements that might come to the scene.

Taking over critical spots was described in the chapter "Earlstone - yellow zone". Keep in mind that during the "Hearts and Minds" task, you only have a certain number of critical points to cover. However, it pays off to take them over, as they yield a huge boost to the "Hearts and Minds" indicator.

The KPA megaphones sabotage is done in a "walk up and cut the wire" manner, so it's done quickly, at the same time you avoid the KPA patrols. Every available megaphone can be seen on your map. Activating the resistance radio works in a similar manner. You don't receive a big boost to the indicator, but it is better than nothing.
After gaining 100% of the "hearts and minds" indicator, go to the basement of the armory and activate the transmitter to begin the uprising. You will receive 800$ for the task.
