Modders never cease to amaze with their creativity. The latest example of this is the Racing Adventure project, which turns Warcraft 3 into a go-kart racing game, reminiscent of the Mario Kart series.
The modification is impressive. It not only offers classic racing controls, but the creator also implemented his own physics engine, simulating gravity. He also prepared a new camera system. We can play all of these solo or in multiplayer mode for up to twenty players.
You can see how everything works in action by watching the video prepared by the creator, which you can find above.
The mod is in the form of a Warcraft 3 map, which you can download from Epic War. The modification has been made available in an open-source model, so other authors will be able to build their own projects based on it.

Quake did it before
This isn't the first time fans have turned a game into a racing game from a completely different genre. In the 90s, a group of enthusiasts came up with a mod called Quake Rally that turned the classic first-person shooter game by id Software into a rally-themed project.
