All endings in The Dark Queen of Mortholme, you don't need to do anything for one of them
Although The Dark Queen of Mortholme is a very short game, it has a couple of endings. Surprising, isn't it? Do you want to know them all? Read about them in our guide.

The Dark Queen of Mortholme is a short game created by an indie developer Mosu. What is it about? We take on the role of a powerful boss, and our task is to defeat the ever-coming hero who tries to kill us. This is a reversed concept because it is usually players who fight the same boss several times, for example in soulslike games. Although this production can be completed in as little as 20 minutes, it has multiple endings. If you want to find out what they are, and what you need to do to reach them, read our guide.
All endings in The Dark Queen of Mortholme explained
The Dark Queen of Mortholme is a game made by an independent developer called Mosu. You can download it for free on the itch.io platform (you can also leave a tip). If you would like to discover all endings, below you will find out what you need to do to experience them.
- The hero defeats us – you simply have to let your opponent defeat you in the final battle by actively participating in it. It's not that difficult at all, considering that the hero learns your moves and becomes more and more difficult to “kill” with each approach.
- You defeat the hero – surprisingly, this is not such an easy task at all, because, as we have mentioned earlier, with each new approach, the fight becomes more and more difficult. In this ending, the Dark Queen finally has peace in her castle and will no longer be haunted by the hero.
- You do nothing – yes, you read it right, don’t fight. This is a rather amusing ending, in which the protagonist, after a few attacks, will see that you basically do not take the combat seriously and, being outraged that you do not respect him properly, will leave the arena. In time, however, he will return and eventually beat you to death. Let him kill you to unlock this ending.
