The developers of Delta Force are fighting cheaters by introducing harsh penalties. The most egregious cheaters receive 10-year bans.
Cheating in multiplayer games is a common problem, affecting many titles. This group also includes the shooter game Delta Force, whose developers are known for their decisive actions against cheaters. For some time now, the developers have been publishing periodic reports that include data on bans.
According to the latest report from the G.T.I security team, in just one week over 20,000 players violated the game rules and were punished. The sanctions included 10-year bans for 1446 people, device restrictions, and instant game logouts, among other measures. Below, I have presented the exact numbers that allow us to take a closer look at the problem.
- 1446 players received 10-year bans.
- 365 players violated the DMA.
- 13,475 fraud attempts were stopped.
- 694 devices have been blocked.
- 4044 players were logged out for cheating.
The developers of Delta Force underline their commitment to maintaining a fair gaming environment and applying zero tolerance toward cheaters. The game has been receiving mixed reviews since its release, mainly due to the aggressive anti-cheat system. Therefore, it's unsurprising that the number of cheaters caught each week is huge, and the developers are openly engaging in their activities.
