Delta Force's new season propels game to record popularity on Steam, but players are still complaining about the game's condition

Yesterday, Delta Force, an online shooter, has launched the new fifth season. It's titled Break and it brings many new features.

1. The update has added Tempest, a new operator. She relies on high mobility and can, among other things, temporarily increase her running and swimming speed, as well as perform flips and shoot a rope that allows her to quickly retreat from the battlefield.
2. The Operations got a new map - Tide Prison. Here, we head to a prison island, where we have to face a boss named Raven. The map is available only on PC.
3. Mobile devices and PC players can fight on a new map for the Warfare: Cyclone mode. It is located on a tropical island, where the weather can change in the blink of an eye.
4. Season 5 he also introduced swimming and diving mechanics as well as a jet ski.

6. With the release of the season, the game has also got a series of new events with valuable prizes.
7. Further plans for this season include a crossover with Arknights.

The premiere of the fifth season allowed the game to set a new activity record on Steam - yesterday, the game has achieved a peak of 179,755 players playing the title simultaneously.

The high popularity of the game does not mean, however, that its users are raving about it. On Steam, the game has 62% positive reviews, and counting only the opinions from the last 30 days, only 50% praise Delta Force. The premiere of the fifth season didn't change much - among the reviews posted yesterday, 53% were positive.

Delta Force is available on PC and mobile devices with iOS and Android systems. The game is available in a free-to-play model with microtransactions.
