The mostly forgotten remaster of American McGee's Alice had many technical problems that Electronic Arts never solved. Only now has one fan done so.
When Electronic Arts released Alice: Madness Returns in 2011 it included American McGee's Alice, the first installment of the series, as an added bonus to the Complete edition. However, it was not the same game as in 2000. Instead, it was pretty much a full-blown remaster. However, this project has two major drawbacks - not only did it leave much to be desired technically, but today the purchase of the Complete edition is only possible through third-party stores that sell keys. The latter will not change until EA comes to its senses. The former, on the other hand, has just ceased to be a problem, thanks to the VorpalFix modification.
This fan project fixes virtually all the shortcomings of the game.
All in all, VorpalFix fixes practically all the imperfections of the remaster, allowing us to fully enjoy the game. Now it would be great if Electronic Arts started selling it again, instead of forcing players to look for Complete edition keys in various unofficial stores.
