Amnesia: The Bunker Reviews; 'One of the Scariest Horrors Ever'

Amnesia: The Bunker is another game that horrified the reviewers. Fortunately, in this particular case this was the intention of the developers.

Reviews of Amnesia: The Bunker have begun to flow. The sequel to the iconic horror adventure game series will arrive after three delays, caused by, among other things, winter illnesses at the studio and the need to polish the game.

Was it worth waiting longer for the return of Amnesia, or was it better to forget about it in favor of other June launches?

Judging by the reviews, fans will have no reason to complain. If you are missing horror in modern survival horror games, Amnesia: The Bunker will provide it in spades. The game apparently manages to terrify so much that some reviewers saw fit to mention it not only in the game's pros, but also in the cons. This is partly due to the monster, whose encounters are rarely the result of scripts.

The atmosphere is also effectively built by level design. As a result, the game world, in which obstacles can be overcome in a variety of ways (almost like in immersive sims), win over even the more critical reviewers.

Speaking of which, Amnesia: The Bunker disappointed some journalists with its somewhat bland plot and lack of truly creative puzzles. Also, not everyone is convinced that the "unpredictable monster" trick has worked for the developers, if only in comparison with Alien: Isolation.

Nevertheless, it seems that Amnesia: The Bunker scares as much as fans of the series could have hoped for. And by no means with ratings or graphics, as in the case of a certain recent release. The game will be available tomorrow on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
