Amnesia: The Bunker, a horror game by Frictional Games and the latest installment in the popular series, is now on sale.
Amnesia: The Bunker, the latest installment in the hit horror game series from Frictional Games, has debuted on the market.
The game looks ambitious. Released in 2010, Amnesia: The Dark Descent revolutionized the horror genre and inspired countless imitators. For the next dozen years or so, Frictional Games focused mainly on developing ideas from its hit. Now the developers have finally decided to try something new.
Amnesia: The Bunker represents a significant departure from the solutions of previous installments. Instead of a series of linear levels, we get a more sandbox-like gameplay, set in one large location. In addition, the game offers much more freedom of action - with many options for manipulating the environment and the ability to use weapons (although, in keeping with the traditions of the genre, we will always have too little ammunition).
The risk taken by the developers has paid off, as the game is collecting good reviews. The PC version currently has an average rating of 78% on Metacritic.
Finally, it is worth quoting the system requirements of the PC version of the game.
