Modders should be especially happy with the new Eden 3D Editor.

The long anticipated Eden Update for Bohemia Interactive’s tactical military shooter Arma III is now available. This spacious piece of coding brings along some essential novelties and improvements. First of all, players get to lay their hands on all-new Eden 3D scenario editor, which definitely makes it easier for modders to create maps exactly the way they want them to be.

Next in line is launcher-based server browser offering several useful features for players’ convienience (details here) as well as support for Steam Workshop content. Beside these practical changes there come further audio enhancements, as well new and improved visual effects (including HBAO+) and optimizations. All this is but a warm-up before this year’s main course: Apex DLC. This large paid expansion will be delievered some time in summer, featuring a vast new area, a co-op campaign and a bunch of new gear and vehicles.
