Backpack Battles is a new Steam hit. While we say “new”, we mean that it was released today in Early Access. However, players had an opportunity to play the game much earlier thanks to the demo. For now, the game was announced only on PC. Nevertheless, many players wonder, if the title will be available on different platforms, like Mobile devices or consoles (PS4, PS5 or Xbox).

Backpack Battles – Console (PS5, PS4, Xbox, Switch) and Mobile Release

Many players enjoying Backpack Battles would like to see the game ported to different platforms. Of course, among the most popular ones we may name consoles like PS5, PS4, Xbox and Switch. Of course, mobile users would like to play the game, too.

If you want to learn more about the topic, we recommend the official Discord, as there you can find FAQ with the answers about mobile and console ports. We may read that:

Will there be a mobile port?

It is strongly considered, the game works well on mobile. However, we will do the PC launch first and talk about that after.

Will the game come to consoles?

That depends on the success of the game and considerations with publishers. We are not opposed to it, but the game needs to prove itself on PC before consoles are a realistic option.

As you can see, while the ports are not ready yet, there is a chance that they will appear at some point. We have to wait how many players will be attracted by PC version of Backpack Battles. The time will tell.
