Owners of current-generation consoles from Microsoft can rest assured about Baldur's Gate 3. The head of Larian Studios confirmed that the game's release is still scheduled for this year.
We lived to see new news about Baldur's Gate 3 port for Xbox Series X/S consoles. The head of Larian Studios, Swen Vincke, revealed on X that currently the game is in the testing phase and - importantly - its release on Microsoft devices should take place by the end of the year.

Interestingly, a joke about the game in question even appeared in South Park, to which Vincke drew attention in social media.
Without going into greater detail: Stan, one of the main characters in the aforementioned cartoon, says that the game save from one platform cannot be transferred to another (PC and PS5). Earlier, Cartman said that he has about 50 hours into Baldur's Gate 3, but on PC he has to start a new game.
Larian Studios in response assured, that it is possible to transfer saves between PC and PlayStation 5.
Many Xbox gamers certainly can't wait to embrace Baldur's Gate 3. There's nothing surprising about that, as the game is considered one of the best of 2023 and has a good chance of taking the Game of the Year trophy.
At the moment, the title from Larian Studios can boast 380 thousand reviews on Steam, of which as much as 96% are positive. Also impressive is the record of simultaneous number of players - 875,343.
