Battlefield 6 and New Need for Speed in 2021

Battlefield 6 and the new Need for Speed will go on sale next year. Electronic Arts is promising a huge leap forward in technology and cutting-edge solutions.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Electronic Arts has revealed its publishing plans for the next few months.
  2. Among the announced titles are new installments of Need for Speed and Battlefield series.
  3. Both game are to surprise us with next-gen quality.

Battlefield 6 and the new installment of Need for Speed series will appear at the end of 2021. Electronic Arts informed about the fact in its financial report. DICE is of course responsible for the development of the new Battlefield, and the next part of Need for Speed is handled by the Criterion Games team.

The coming months will be extremely important for Electronic Arts. Apart from regularly released sports games, other productions are to make their debut, which was announced by EA's chaiman Andrew Wilson.

"We plan to launch at least six new games on the next-gen consoles in FY22. These will include a new Need for Speed game that is bringing some astounding visual leaps, developed by the Criterion team, who have launched some of the most highly-rated games in franchise history."

There will also be a new Batttlefield, which according to the leaks will offer battles for up to 128 players. Rumor has it that it will be set in modern times, the period that most faithful fans of the series are asking for. Just like Need for Speed, Battlefield 6 is to impress with its technical layer.

"DICE is creating our next Battlefield game with never-before-seen scale. The technical advancements of the new consoles are allowing the team to deliver on a true next-gen vision for the franchise. We have hands-on play testing underway internally, and the team’s been getting very positive feedback on the game as we’ve begun to engage our community."

We'll hear more about the new titles from EA next year. At this point, the first teaser of the new Battlefield was confirmed to be scheduled for the spring of 2021. Unless something earlier is going to leak, as the title is currently being tested, and, as we know, testers sometimes have trouble complying with the NDAs they signed. For the benefit of us all.
