Beautiful Out of Words looks to be the most pleasant surprise of Summer Game Fest 2025
Summer Game Fest 2025 brought the announcement of a lovely independent platformer. The cooperative Out of Words catches the eye with its unusual graphics.

One of the surprises presented during the Summer Game Fest 2025 is Out of Words. This platform game stands out with its beautiful graphic design and looks like a perfect title for fans of cooperative titles from Hazelight studio. The game strongly reminds me of the well-received It Takes Two and the recently released Split Fiction.
Unfortunately, no release date has been revealed. We know that Out of Word will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on the Epic Games Store (published by Epic Games).
We'll be able to play the upcoming game from Kong Orange and WiredFly together with a friend, either on the same couch or online - the game will have crossplay. One person will play Kurt, and the other will play Karla. Out of Words will tell the story of these two friends who get entangled in the fight for the future of the colorful land of Vokabulantis.
The game will be all about working together to solve puzzles that often involve using the laws of physics. The first trailer shows fragments of a few logic puzzles, which indicate that a good plan and communication with your partner will be crucial in Out of Words.
The charming graphic design of Out of Words was "carefully designed" by the devs. They made every character and part of the environment "by hand."
