Action FPP Blacktails Enables us to Play as a Young Witch

The Parasight has announced BLACKTAIL, an action-adventure game that will offer a fresh interpretation of the Slavic folk tale about Baba Yaga. The game is coming to PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. No release date was given.

In BLACKTAIL we'll play as Yaga - a sixteen-year-old girl, who was accused of witchcraft and banished from the village. During the adventure we will try to discover the truth about our lost friends and eventually create our own legend, becoming the guardian of the forest and a terror of unwary children.

A mysterious voice will accompany us on the expedition, helping us not only in gaining great power but also in regaining lost memories, each of which will be presented in the form of a 2.5D story.

The adventure will be played from first-person perspective. The player has to explore locations, collect herbs, hunt, and fight enemies. In battles, we'll use mainly a bow and an enchanted gauntlet. The game will offer a crafting system that allows for manufacturing arrows and preparing potions. The gameplay will be diversified by finding treasures and fragments of ancient Slavic legends.

BLACKTAIL will also offer a morality system, enabling us to decide on the fate of the land's inhabitants. Our choices will affect the course of the story and gameplay. In the game we will also collect the lost cards of an ancient Grimoire and brew potions to improve our skills.
