Blacktail Looks Intriguing in New Trailer
At the end of gamescom 2022 Opening Light Live, the first-person action adventure game Blacktail from studio The Parasight was presented. The visuals of the game are stunning - at least on the trailer.
DLC for Dying Light 2 was not the only Polish accent during today's gamescom 2022 Opening Night Live. Indeed, at the end of the show, the first-person action adventure game announced last year was presented - Blacktail from Krakow-based studio The Parasight. A fresh trailer of the game - including gameplay elements - can be seen below.
I don't know about you, but I like what I saw. Fairytale-like visuals of Blacktail really catches the eye - the environments and special effects more than the character models, but overall it's at least decent. It's hard to say anything about the gameplay; one can only hope that archery will be enjoyable.
The story may also be interesting. A fresh interpretation of the Slavic fairy tales of Baba Yaga may prove to be a hit, especially since the developers intend to enable the players to be either a good or bad witch. All indications are that we will come to impersonate her in the winter period of late 2022 and early 2023. The title will be released on PC, PS5 and XSX/S.
