Blasphemous 2 is a new soulslike game which is created in pixel art graphics. As all titles in the genre, you can fight dangerous opponents and bosses here. However, the fights may be a little bit less demanding if you accept help of one NPC – Yerma. Sadly, she can easily die. In this guide we will help you keep her alive.

Blasphemous 2 – How to Keep Yerma Alive

You can meet Yerma for the first time in Profundo Lamento, in the room with a powerful swordsman. Thanks to her you will unlock one of the key mechanics in the game.

Later on, she will be waiting for you in front of the rooms with bosses. You should accept her help, as there are no negative consequences of that. What is more, some fans theorize that it is necessary to keep her alive.

Very important moment for her survival is in Two Moons. In the case of this location boss (Svsona), she will also be ready to help you; however, you will need to bring her an item – Holy Oil. Be careful, as one wrong step, and Yerma will die.

First of all, don’t explore the neighborhood, as there is an unmarked room, which will trigger Yerma’s death. It is a mirrored version of boss’ location. Don’t break the mirror, which leads to the boss, too.

Before you continue, get Oil. It is in Elevated Temples (the first room to the left). You have to jump over the gap. It is necessary to have Scion Protection (ability) to do that. Once you have the item, go back to Yerma and accept her help for the last time.
