Classic Fallout-inspired isometric RPG Broken Roads has a new approximate release date. The debut game from Drop Bear Bytes studio is scheduled to be released in early 2024.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is not the only RPG that, contrary to earlier announcements, will not be released this year. Developers from studio Drop Bear Bytes have in fact announced, via Twitter/X, that their debut title - Broken Roads - will come out in 2024, or, more precisely, at its beginning (the developers didn't indicate a specific date).
It's worth noting that the news was announced just six days before the game's previously scheduled release, which was to have taken place on November 14.
The reason for the change in release plans for Broken Roads - the usual - is to be the desire to refine the title as well as to carry out meticulous tests aimed at eliminating as many bugs as possible.
Nevertheless, the game probably won't lack bugs, as the developers revealed that the game - to their surprise - has grown really sizable - especially for a title from the AA or even A segment.
While waiting for the release Broken Roads, you can make your life more pleasant with interesting videos from the game, such as those showing character archetypes. Admittedly, the series devoted to character types consists of one material so far, but more should appear soon.
The debut work of Drop Bear Bytes promises to be a thoroughbred RPG, as it will be possible to complete the game, without killing anyone, thanks to an extensive character progression system and numerous choices, written according to the so-called moral compass. If you are curious about the game, a demo is still available on Steam.
Broken Roads is heading to PC first, as well as Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles.. In the further future, it is also expected to be released on other consoles.
