We have learned the exact release date of Broken Roads. This isometric RPG should interest fans of the original Fallouts or Disco Elysium.
Until now, we knew that the RPG Broken Roads will come out this year. Today, however, the developers have revealed the game's exact release date - except that the debut will not be immediately on all platforms. Broken Roads will be released first on PC and Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles - on November 14.
The developers have indicated that information about the game's release on other consoles will be made available "soon." This is because it is also planned to debut on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
In connection with the disclosure of the game's release date, a new trailer, which includes many gameplay shots, has been presented - you'll watch it below.
If you have good memories of the first, isometric Fallouts, then Broken Roads will be the game for you. The developers were mainly inspired by this series, which can be seen mainly in the setting (the action of this title takes place in post-apocalyptic Australia) or the turn-based combat system.
Fans of newer RPG games, such as Disco Elysium or even Baldur's Gate 3, may also be interested in Broken Roads. Developers of the upcoming game place special emphasis on the so-called moral compass. The choices made by the player will be of great importance, and the available options are to depend largely on the protagonist's life attitude. If appropriately directing the protagonist's progression, we can even complete the game as a pacifist and avoid fighting altogether.
It is worth mentioning that the game's demo is still available on Steam. It enables you to play as a mercenary, which is one of the four character archetypes that will be available in the full version. Many players participating in discussions on Steam really liked this sample, so it's worth keeping tabs on this next potentially excellent RPG coming out this year.
