Although most of you are probably fed up with Activision Blizzard's merger case with Microsoft, the recently concluded series of hearings of the US giant by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is quite an interesting development. Its undeniable merit is the information that is coming out, which under normal circumstances probably wouldn't bvecome known at all, or would do so on the terms of the parties involved. One such news concerns the new installment of Call of Duty, which will most likely be subtitled Modern Warfare III.

As reported by editors of Insider-Gaming, federal judge Jacqueline Scott Corley, who oversaw Microsoft's hearings by the Federal Trade Commission, revealed that the new installment in the series is set to debut on the market this November.

Admittedly, as early as May there were leaks saying that the release of Modern Warfare III will take place on November 10, but this was still unconfirmed information. Judge's words, on the other hand, can already be treated as at least probable.

Below you can see an amusing post, in which Activision reacted to the spoiled surprise. Can these eyes lie?
