The organizers of Formula 1 races announced today that they will prepare virtual equivalents of the canceled Grand Prix series races. F1 drivers will take part in them, but the struggle will be purely entertaining, without affecting the official World Cup score.

Today, the organizers of Formula 1 races announced that as compensation for the cancelation of the remaining Grand Prix series races, they will prepare their virtual counterparts in F1 2019. Some Formula 1 drivers will participate in the event, and the first such a competition (Bahrain GP - 50 lengths or 28 laps) will take place this Sunday, at 20:00 GMT. The broadcast will be available on F1 profiles on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook and the official website.
However, the organizers point out that the races will not affect the official World Cup scoring and are purely entertaining. As not all drivers are familiar with the video game, the settings will be changed accordingly to ensure maximum competitiveness and entertainment. In addition, for the sake of the safety of the participants, each of them will join the race remotely.
