Here's a Nice Summary of the Best Guns in Call of Duty Warzone

Youtuber named TheXclusiveAce has analyzed weapons statistics from Call of Duty: Warzone. He collected this data in a table and used it to determine what is the best guns in this free shooter from Infinity Ward studio.

What would a multiplayer title be without analyzing "which gun/card/class/itp. is the best in the game"?
The most important information:
  • Youtuber TheXclusiveAce has published a video that discusses the ten best guns available in Call of Duty: Warzone;
  • The user analysed the statistics of 32 weapons, checking their DPS and the time and number of hits needed to kill an enemy, taking into account various levels of armor;
  • The resulting table was partly completed by user named cuddlyisawesome from Reddit, adding data on the decrease in effectiveness of selected guns in relation to range.

If you've ever been interested in competitive games or even a slightly more serious game in any title, you probably know what details professional players are looking for. DPS in action games, FAF in fighting game, chance to knock out an enemy in one round or draw a card - all this math can rally suck in the enthusiasts. These definitely include the user running thes TheXclusiveAce channel on YouTube, who published a list of the top ten guns in Call of Duty: Warzone. Unlike many "tierlists", the video was preceded by an in-depth analysis of the statistics of over 30 guns available in the game. The results were divided into categories in a Google document.

The table focuses mainly on damage, including DPS and TTK (time needed to take down an enemy) and STK (number of hits needed to take down an enemy). However, power alone isn't everything and TheXclusiveAce has also taken into account factors such as portability and magazine size. The latter feature is particularly important in a game that enables up to 150 players to play together, where there is a good chance that after finishing off one opponent, they will immediately encounter another, and no one wants to reload their gun in such a situation.

Alone or in a trio, it's always better to have enough ammo to kill more than one enemy.

The list itself is not numbered, because an attempt to establish the objective order of a sniper rifle, an assault rifle, and a shotgun in one set is pointless. Some of the listed guns are unlikely to surprise anyone: M4, MP7 and MP5 dominate in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and things are no different in Warzone. Not surprising is the presence of the HDR sniper rifle, one of the two capable of killing even a fully-armoured player with a single shot to the head (next to the AX-50, which has a bit lower rate of fire and deals similar damage). M4, MP5 and HDR are also listed in our guide as the best weapons in their categories (assault rifle, submachine gun and sniper rifle respectively). It is slightly different with shotguns, or more precisely with two "absolute monsters" at short range, as the creator of the video calls them. In our text, we recognized the superiority of the R-90 due to its firepower and, above all, its high fire rate, TheXclusiveAce believes that the Origin 12 is not far behind.

There are also several surprises, such as RAM-7 and FAL. The latter, though semi-automatic, is supposed to win even with SMG and other assault rifles, and is ripping through the armor in a flash (assuming we hit the head or top of the torso) and working at all ranges. The best LMG turned out to be - according to the YouTuber and our author - the PKM, slightly outperformed by MG34 in terms of DPS, but making up for it with a huge magazine (up to 200 rounds) and better accuracy and portability.

The best light machine gun, at least according to some.

However, the biggest surprise - also for the youtuber himself, who had to check it many times - was what TheXclusiveAce called "the best full auto weapon in the game". We're talking about the AUG submachine gun, or more precisely its .556 variant. In this version, this weapon has one of the highest DPS ratios of all SMGs and assault rifles. Only the M4 with the .458 SOCOM improvement performs better, but at a cost of only 10 bullets in the magazine compared to AUG's 60 .556 rounds with all upgrades. The only disadvantage of the latter is its poor long-range performance (albeit not to the point of being useless), but this is hardly a price for such power combined with mobility and accuracy.

Of course, even after this seemingly exhaustive investigation, TheXclusiveAce's list is open to discussion. For example, cuddlyasalways from Reddit, who supplemented the table with data on the effectiveness of selected guns at range, generally agrees with the youtuber. However, he points out that AUG bullet loses energy earlier, and a bullet from FAL has more power just 18 meters from the barrel. He considers the AK-47 with some extras as the best weapon in Warzone. There is always the question of personal preferences and skills and, for example, someone can appreciate and, more importantly, be better with the more handy SA87, despite its smaller magazine. However, thanks to TheXclusiveAce (and cuddlyasalways), avid CoD: Warzone players have received important help and will be able to choose their weapons more easily.

The enthusiasts discussing (and often arguing) about the superiority of one weapon, character or object over others are a constant element of any multiplayer game.
