Cheatmakers Ready for CoD: MW2; Discounts Planned

MW2's open beta testing is a good opportunity to try out the game not only for gamers, but also for... cheatmakers. The latter are bragging about their progress on their software, ensuring that they are ready for the release.

Test weekend of Modern Warfare 2 closes today. If it will become famous for anything among shooter fans, it will definitely be thanks to cheaters. The latter had the perfect opportunity to test their software, which, as you can guess, successfully ruined the fun of honest players.

Cheats also need testing

There are many apps that make gameplay easier, but few can boast an adequate degree of refinement, as indicated by a tweet from one cheatmaker group.

To what extent bragging about the completion of cheating apps is okay, everyone will judge for themselves. Nevertheless, the creators of cheats proudly announced that their software will be ready for the release of MW2.

The end of October will also be the ideal time to acquire these cheats. This is because the developers have stated that a discount will await those interested.

Rightly outraged gamers

The announcement was met with a twofold reception, the tone of which depends, of course, on the community. Honest players, while not surprised by the trade and fine-tuning of cheating apps, are definitely disgusted by it.

"I just played against a team of hackers and exploiters using this in the game. I did a little research on one of the players and came to this tweet," Knautical_J wrote.

"Yes, for sure I have met at least two people brazenly using cheats in the game, so honestly it's a bit sad," wrote Tedious_Grafunkel.

"Yep, I know one cheatmaker who stated that his cheat would be ready for release. Idiotic. I bought the PC version so this one.... I'm done. I won't turn off the crossplay like console gamers do," DigitalHD wrote.

As you can see, the release of Modern Warfare 2 does not look promising for PC gamers, although Infinity Ward, the game's developer, was expected to take steps against cheaters.

Whether their actions will have any effect, we will find out on October 28, when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will arrive on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
