Zombies in Civilization 6 Confirmed; DLC's Release Date and Price

Portugal and Zombies will appear in the final pack as part of the New Frontier pass for Civilization 6. The DLC will debut later in March and you won't pay much for it.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. The final pack intended for Civilization VI as part of the New Frontier pass will be the Portugal Pack;
  2. The DLC will add a new nation to the game, two wonders and a gameplay mode - Zombie Defense.

A new nation will soon join Civilization 6. This time it will be the nation that fans have been asking for for a long time - Portugal. Along with it, the game will receive two new wonders and a completely new game mode, which may not be to everyone's liking.

Portugal Pack will be the last pack released as part of the New Frontier pass. The set will include, in addition to a new nation, its assigned leader, an additional map script (Wetlands), two wonders (Torre de Belém tower in Portugal and the ziggurat of god Marduk - E-temenanki) and a new game mode, called Zombie Defense. This confirms the information about which we wrote a few days ago.

Portugal will function based on its strengths - fleet operations, trade, and exploration. Firaxis Games will reveal details about this civilization at a later date.

Much more attention has already been paid to the Zombie Defense mode. Its premise will be the principle that each defeated unit can return to life as a zombie and automatically follow another that has not yet been infected. This mode will provide new buildings - barricades and traps to deal with the ever-increasing number of undead units. Interestingly, there will be buildings that will enable us to take control of groups of undead.

Portugal Pack will be released on March 25, for around $5. If you have the New Frontier pass, you can download it for free.
